Astrid Lorange is a Sydney poet and author of several excellent books of poetry, including Eating and Speaking, Minor Dogs, FOOD TURNS INTO BLOOD, Pathetic Tower, and her PDF book, Pussy pussy pussy what what (Au lait day Au lait day). Lorange also contributes a regular column about Australian poetry to the internationally acclaimed online journal, Jacket2, and was a guest editor of Cordite. She also co-edits the Sydney-based chapbook press SUS. Lorange recently completed a PhD dissertation on Gertrude Stein at the University of Technology Sydney. How Reading is Written: A Brief Index to Gertrude Stein will be published by Wesleyan University Press. She currently lectures at UNSW Art & Design.
