Mark Young has been publishing poetry for nearly fifty-five years. His work has been widely anthologized while his essays and poetry have been translated into a number of languages. He is the author of more than twenty books, primarily poetry but also speculative fiction and art history. His poetry collections include Genji Monogatari (2010) and Pelican Dreaming: Poems 1959-2008 (2008). He is the editor of the online journal Otoliths and its paper-based companion press. He lives on the Tropic of Capricorn.
