Alice Springs

Alice Springs is the third largest town in the Northern Territory, Australia. Popularly known as The Aliceor simply Alice; Alice Springs is situated in the geographic centre of Australia near the southern border of the Northern Territory. The site is known as Mparntwe to its original inhabitants known as The Central Arrernte people, who have lived in this Central Australian desert for thousands of years. Tyuretye, or Spencer Hill, can be found on the east side of Alice Springs, rising above the towns and surrounding hills.
