Michael Giacometti

Michael Giacometti is an award-winning poet and prose writer based in Alice Springs. His work has been published in Meanjin, Island, and several anthologies including How to look after your poet in the event of a cycloneAdrift: poems inspired by the 1952 raft journey by artist Ian FairweatherFishtails in the dust, and Bruno’s Song and other stories from the Northern Territory. He is currently working on a themed collection of poetry, Watching this place; and an ‘outback gothic’ novel, This landscape of failure, with the guidance of mentor Melanie Ostell.
